In preparation for a referendum to take place on 12 May 2019, Chamber president Rimas Čuplinskas participated in a televised debate with politicians and other public figures on 29 April 2019. Čuplinskas described Canada’s rather liberal stance regarding dual citizenship and the positive long-term effects of this practice on its economy.
